BS476-7:1997 對建筑材料和結構的著火試驗-第7部分：產品火焰表面延伸等級確定的測試方法。
BS476-7防火阻燃等級測試方法
測試方法是在燃燒箱內點燃燒樣品，點燃源為燃氣輻射板及中型燃氣噴燈。輻射板的輻射強度在離75mm處為32.5kw/m2(表面)，噴燈的火焰高75-100mm，與輻射板在同一方向施加于試樣。樣品暴露在輻射熱源板下10min。記錄1.5分鐘及10分鐘樣品的火焰?zhèn)鞑コ潭�。測試結果分成4個等級，Class 1、Class 2、Class 3、Class 4。Class 4級材料火災危險性很高，不允許用為建材。
